John Stanley Stultz, Jr., 82, passed away on June 18, 2026 at his residence in McPherson, KS.
John was born on May 12, 1944 in Pittsburg, KS to parents John Stultz, Sr. and Gladys (Snyder) Stultz.
John attended Cherokee High School, Cherokee, KS and graduated in 1962. He then enlisted in the United States Army Reserve where he served honorably.
John Stanley Stultz, Jr. was united in marriage to Barbara Jo Hunt in Marion, KS. This union was blessed with the birth of a daughter Tera Stultz.
Through the years John worked as a State Trooper for the Kansas Highway Patrol for 31 years, until he retired. He then worked for the City of McPherson for several years.
John enjoyed being a gun collector, hunting, shooting, and spending time with his American Legion friends and his family.
John is survived by his daughter, Tera Stultz, of McPherson, KS; nephew, Kenny Stultz, Jr. (Nancy) of Weir, KS; sisters, Ruth Croker, Rita Narie, Norma Jean Craig and Teresa Favaro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Eugene Stultz, Sr.; sisters, Rosalee Little, Connie Stultz, and Dorothy Mast.
