Rosemary “Rose” Ann Stearns
1963-2026

Rosemary "Rose" Ann Stearns, 62, passed away on May 21, 2026, in Aiken, South Carolina.

Born on December 7, 1963, in Eugene, Oregon, Rose lived a life marked by creativity, determination, faith, and love for her family. She was a talented interior designer whose artistic eye and passion for beauty touched both the spaces she created and the people who knew her.

Rose found joy in painting, running, and golfing. Whether creating art, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time on the golf course, she embraced life with enthusiasm and grace. In her later years, she made her home in Aiken, South Carolina, where she became known as a local artist and enjoyed sharing her creativity with the community she loved.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Patterson; her stepson, Kerry Patterson; and her parents, Doris McAdam and Robert "Bob" Stearns.

She is survived by her beloved son, John Henning Jr.; her cherished grandson, Colton Priest Henning-Cope; her brothers, David Stearns and Tony Stearns; and her sisters, Michelle Stearns and Kathy Stearns, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Rose was a faithful member of the Catholic Church in Dahlonega, Georgia, and carried her faith with her throughout her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, resilience, compassion, artistic spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

Though she is no longer with us, Rose's love, wisdom, and enduring spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the family she cherished, the artwork she created, and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.

"Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the hearts and memories of those who carry their love forward."
