Dean Allan Scott
1945-2026

Dean was number five of their six children. Dean was born and raised in Hoisington. He served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. After his service he returned to Hoisington and worked in the oilfields as a driller and retired as the Superintendent of Public Works for the City of the Hoisington. Planting a “not so big” garden was also something he looked forward to each Spring. He was notorious for saying, “only a few plants” and end up with 27 of one plant.
