Marsha Jean BacaBroken Arrow, OK

Marsha Jean Baca, 59, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. Marsha was born in Chanute, KS on October 23, 1966, and raised by her loving parents Jose Vic and Martha J. (Smith) Baca.

Marsha was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 1985, she then attended college to obtain her nursing degree and began her legacy of taking care of people in all aspects of their lives. Marsha was a very loving and caring person, but was also known to be a little stubborn, but knew exactly what she wanted and worked hard at doing it, and getting it done.

Marsha loved and cherished her children, but they felt she loved her dog Lacey Jean just a little more.. She enjoyed having special day dates and or outings with her boys and their families, and she enjoyed doing some scrap booking or bargain hunting on the side. Marsha took caring for others to heart, when not working as a nurse, she was also active with Angel Tree working to take care of others in need. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and grand parents Nelda White, Eschal Smith, Bentura Baca and Jose Baca

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 5-7 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. The funeral will be privately done by the family at a later date with ultimately burial at Harrison cemetery. Memorials have been suggested in her memory to the Angel Tree and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
