Patricia Kathrine (Green, Sekach) Pendergrass

Patricia Kathrine Pendergrass (formerly Green, Sekach) was born March 15, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Clara
Wolfe and Stephen Sekach. Her mom bailed early. She grew up with her dad and siblings, rough but strong, in a place called Sloppy Hollow. She bounced from that home to what she called a school for bad girls, and eventually she ran off to Arizona with her bestie where the girls could make a couple new lives for themselves. Lucky for all of us, on the way to AZ she got smitten with Haven's Samuel Green. She never made it further than Haven, and before she knew it, she was married. Along came the kids,  Sandra Green, Nellie Curiel (Steve), Samuel Green Jr. (Laura), Carla Green, and Michelle Green. Eight grandkids came next: Amy Hurt (Justin), Sara Green, Nicole Coughlin (John), Trevor Curiel, Dustin Curiel, Alyssa Vargas, Lacie Vargas, Andreas and four great-grandkids so far!

She aged amazingly, with a million friends, stories, and bingo wins. Our tattooed biker, bartender, pool shark matriarch waited until her ex-husband's birthday and passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026.

If you called her mom, knew her and loved her, were a little afraid of her, or anywhere in between, you're invited to celebrate her life in the Hutchinson V.F.W. banquet room Friday, May 22, 2026 from 1pm to 4 pm.
