The 53rd Annual BPW Square Fair

Come for a day of fun at the 53rd annual Square Fair on Saturday, May 9th. Begin the day with breakfast at the bandstand on the square, served by the Jeffrey S. Mersman Memorial VFW Post 6397 from 6-10 am. Square Fair opens at 9 am and close to a hundred arts and crafts vendors will be set up and selling their wares on the courthouse square lawn. Six to eight food trucks will provide delicious meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the day. Musical entertainment is provided by a local DJ. Slip over to the Senior Center and view the many beautiful quilts made by the Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild members. For those history buffs, the Anderson County Historical Museum will be open from 10 am to 3 pm. The Harris House will also be open that day from 10 to 3. Make it a fun day, enjoy all the activities that are planned, and check out businesses that may be open around the square. “
