Harvey Myers, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, at Azria Health in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on November 30, 1940 in Louisville, Mississippi to Simon and Mavis Myers. Harvey and Wilma Irene Keene were married on August 2, 1958 at First Baptist Church of Ulysses, Kansas. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage; Wilma preceded Harvey in death on March 17, 2021. Harvey and Wilma had 2 children, Lisa Simons (T.J.) and Jeffrey. Jeff passed away in 2010. Harvey is survived by his daughter Lisa; along with 5 grandchildren, Donna Kitson, Kim Henson (Jacob), Sarah Smith (Colin), Lindsey Myers, Joshua Myers (Jacqueline); 9 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Patricia and Becky; brother, Robert. Preceded also by a brother, Earl, in 2020. Harvey started Myers Seed Cleaning in Yuma, Colorado, after retiring from work at Dekalb in Ulysses, Kansas. He and Wilma enjoyed working together as a team, cleaning seed wheat, beans, and popcorn, and befriending the farmers that they served. Harvey enjoyed fishing, woodworking and bowling. Harvey and Wilma were amazing grandparents, making each grandchild feel loved and special. Harvey will be missed by his family. His ashes, along Wilma’s ashes will be scattered near Estes Park, Colorado on October 4, 2026.
