Lois Lacy Replogle, 97, passed away April 24, 2026, surrounded by her daughters at Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic, Ellinwood, Kansas. She was born on April 17, 1929, in Iola, Kansas, to Harry L. and Gladys (Wilcox) Lacy. On March 6, 1955, she married Charles Burnett Replogle, M.D. in Iola, Kansas. He passed on May 12, 2000.
Prior to becoming a resident of Great Bend and homemaker, Lois was an airline stewardess for T.W.A. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, P.E.O. Chapter DU, and Great Bend Area Panhellenic. Lois was an active and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, supporting her family in all of their activities, interests, and growth. She cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Survivors include three daughters, Jane R. Barber (Jerry) of Richmond, Virginia, Susan R. Debes (Jim) of Great Bend, and Anne R. Kutina (Larry) of Great Bend; six grandchildren, Parker Rhoads (Carrie), Caitlin Debes (David Dunekack), Colton Debes (Kayla), Andrew Kutina (Kara), Madison Blackmon (Matt), and Elizabeth Donovan (Brannon); three step grandchildren, Ryan Barber, Kyle Barber, and Kristen Barber; four great grandchildren, Charlotte Kutina, Callan Blackmon, Blake Debes, and Abigail Kutina; and sister-in-law, Jane S. Lacy of Topeka.
She was preceded in passing by her husband; parents; son, Steven L. Replogle; granddaughter, Stephanie Rhoads; and three brothers, Harry L. Lacy, Robert E. Lacy, and George W. Lacy.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from noon to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026, with family receiving guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home. A private family service will take place at a later date. Memorials have been designated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
