Marcus Paul Lorg, 70, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Cheney Golden Age Home in Cheney, Kan. Marcus was born on August 24, 1955, to Michael S. Lorg, Sr. and Alberta E. (Youngers) Lorg in Wichita, Kan.
Marcus was retired and previously worked as a tractor/diesel mechanic and in production and maintenance at Cessna.
Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Terri Lorg, Jr.
He is survived by his son, Travis (Angelica) Lorg; daughter, Tracy Lorg; granddaughter, Rosie Lorg; grandsons, Michael Lorg and John Lorg; brothers, Robert (Joleen) Lorg and William (Kim) Lorg, Sr.; and sisters, Carole (Paul) Meng, Patricia Bomholt, and Jane (Brian) Becker.
Recitation of the rosary will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:30 with Father Bernard Gorges officiating. Both services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ost, Kan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Joseph Catholic School, Ost, KS.
