Deann E. LyonHutchinson, KS

Deann Lyon entered heaven peacefully in her sleep on April 4, 2026.  She was born on September 17, 1960, along with her twin sister, Diane.

Deann had worked at Pos-T-Vac in Dodge City, KS for 30 years.  She enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Kansas State Wildcats and a loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan.  Deann enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, diamond painting and needlepoint.  She received her associate’s degree in accounting from Hutchinson Community College.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a younger brother.

Deann is survived by her twin sister, Diane Lyon, brother, Michael (Rachel) Lyon; five nephews and a one niece.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS.  Guests are encouraged to wear Chiefs or K-State attire.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice and Home Care of Reno County and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
