ACC to Close February 13 for Training on New Student Information System

SHARE NOW

IOLA, Kan. (Feb. 4, 2026) — Allen Community College (ACC) will be closed on Friday, February 13 to allow all employees to participate in essential training for the college’s new Student Information System (SIS), Jenzabar. This dedicated time ensures staff are fully prepared for the upcoming transition beginning February 18.

During the SIS transition period from February 18 – March 2, several student‑service offices—including Registrar, Financial Aid, the Business Office, Cashier, and Advising—will have limited access to records and processing functions. Students and parents who may need services such as transcript requests, enrollment verification, financial aid packaging and updates, FAFSA corrections, billing inquiries, payment processing, account balances, class schedule adjustments, academic planning, or degree‑progress guidance may experience delays during this time. ACC encourages anyone needing these services to plan ahead whenever possible.

ACC will also be launching a new student portal as part of the Jenzabar upgrade. During the transition window, the current portal may be unavailable or may display outdated information. If assistance is needed, staff will remain available by phone and email.
