Panthers Cruise to 91–34 Road Victory over STLCC

St. Louis, MO –  Neosho County Community College came out of Christmas break breathing fire and left no doubt, delivering a commanding 91–34 road win over St. Louis Community College Monday night at Forest Park. The Panthers controlled the game from tip to buzzer, outscoring the Archers in every quarter and showcasing their trademark full-court pressure and depth.

Neosho jumped out to a 23–8 first-quarter lead and never looked back, continuing to pour it on with balanced scoring and relentless rebounding to take a 47–15 advantage into halftime. The Panthers stayed locked in after the break, extending the margin to 71–22 after three quarters before closing out the night with a 20-point fourth quarter.

The Panthers placed nine players in the scoring column, led by a trio of double-figure performances:
Sophia Mireles paced Neosho with 14 points, knocking down 3-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Bauke Graulus was nearly perfect, pouring in 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting while adding 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
Chloe Parker added 11 points, including three three-pointers, and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Divine Brown delivered an all-around performance with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks, while Kaozong Yang chipped in 10 points on efficient shooting. Ta’Neah Jones dominated the glass with 7 rebounds, and Neosho finished the night with a commanding 53 total rebounds.

The Panthers also showcased their depth, with contributions from Maila Tashiro (8 points), Lelani Carter (5 points), Laynie Winfrey (5 points), Desiree Williams (5 points), Dagmara Kacprazak (4 points), keeping pressure on St. Louis for all 40 minutes.

Neosho shot 39.6% from the field and a solid 36.1% from three-point range, moving the ball well with 18 assists and forcing 31 turnovers with 20 steals on the defensive end.

The dominant performance marks a powerful return to action for Neosho as they head into the heart of the season carrying momentum, confidence, and the unmistakable edge of a team that’s hungry for more.
