The Bethany College Swedes put together a strong second-half push but ultimately fell 91–66 to McPherson on Wednesday night in Lindsborg. After struggling to find their rhythm early, the Swedes responded with a much more efficient offensive effort after halftime, shooting nearly 47% from the field and attacking the paint with purpose.
Jordan Reams led the way with a game-high 19 points, showcasing confident perimeter shooting and converting five of his six free-throw attempts. His steady scoring kept Bethany competitive as the offense began to open up. Keddric Mays II delivered one of the most efficient performances of the night, scoring 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting while grabbing six rebounds and playing heavy minutes on both ends of the floor.
David Mitchell added another strong interior presence for the Swedes, finishing with 14 points and seven rebounds. His work on the boards helped Bethany stay even in points in the paint and generate 11 second-chance points. Curtis Stovall III also contributed valuable energy off the bench with nine points and four rebounds.
