Nany Rachel (Jennings) Damm, 83, passed away peacefully November 13, 2024, at University of Kansas Health Systems – Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on December 4, 1940, in Pomeroy, Washington. On December 27, 1958, she married Hugo Damm, Sr. in Pomeroy. He passed on July 12, 2002.
A resident of Great Bend since 1965, Nancy worked for the Dominican Sisters of Peace as a CNA. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish. Nancy enjoyed ceramics, macramé, loved her dogs, and having visits from the great grandchildren at the farm.
Survivors include son, Jeff Damm and wife Cindy of Great Bend; four grandchildren, Paul Damm, Jessica Lamphere, Brad Damm and wife Crystal, and Allison Damm and husband Jeremy; six great grandchildren, Graylynn, Teagan, Baker, Sutton, Rhett and Michelle Elizabeth.
She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Hugo Lee Damm, Jr.; her parents; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials have been designated to the Nancy Damm Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
