Marjorie Seaton Marshall

Marjorie Seaton Marshall, a devoted pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, peacefully passed away April 30, 2024 at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 7, 1934, to Walter and Dorothy Vaughn Seaton, Marjorie's life was a testament to faith, love, and unwavering devotion. Marjorie shared 60 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Howard William Marshall, until his passing in December 2012. Together, they exemplified the true meaning of partnership, supporting each other through life's triumphs and trials with unwavering love and dedication. As a mother, Marjorie's love knew no bounds. She was the nurturing heart of her family, raising her three children, Larry, Janet, and David, with boundless love, wisdom, and grace. Her children were her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of faith, integrity, and compassion that guided them throughout their lives. Her daughter Janet cared for her the last years of her life at great personal sacrifice. Marjorie found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her 8 amazing grandchildren, 15 wonderful great grandchildren and two awesome great-great grandsons. She cherished every moment spent with them, showering them with love, laughter, and endless affection. Her home was always filled with the warmth of family gatherings and the sound of grandchildren's laughter, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Throughout her life, Marjorie's faith in the Lord was the cornerstone of her existence. As a pastor's wife, she served alongside her husband with unwavering dedication, offering love, support, and guidance to their congregation. Her steadfast faith and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness, compassion, and grace. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dorothy, her husband, Howard and as well as her siblings, Carl and Leon, and her granddaughter, Constantina “Dina” Voutiritsas. She is survived by her beloved siblings, Norman and Pat, who will continue to cherish her memory and honor her legacy. In the hearts of those who knew her, Marjorie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her boundless love for her family, and her compassionate spirit. Though she may no longer walk among us, her legacy of love and devotion will live on forever. In celebration of her life, let us rejoice in the knowledge that Marjorie Seaton Marshall has been called home to be with her Savior, where she will experience eternal peace and joy in His presence. May her soul rest in heavenly peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and uplift all who were blessed to know her. Marjorie is interred at Lyons Municipal Cemetery at the feet of her father, Walter Seaton.
