Linda Sue Goad, joined her Lord Savior, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her home, with her family by her side.

Linda was born to Emerson and Mildred Day Smith on March 11, 1943, in Bristow, Oklahoma, the eldest child of four children. She attended school and graduated from Taft Union High School.

Linda was united in marriage to Jimmie Goad in 1964. This union was blessed with four children. Linda fiercely loved Jimmie and he was the love of her life.

Granny was all about her family, she was everyone's biggest cheerleader and supporter. Linda had a heart of gold, dedicating her life to children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Linda always put everyone else before herself. Their home was always an open door to anyone who had a need. She was an amazing big sister to her brothers and loved them very much. With Linda's passion for caring for people, she spent many years as a manager of assisted living facilities. To say she lived a selfless life is a true understatement.

Linda had a passion for planting flowers. She and Jimmie owned a plant nursery in Wofford Heights, California, with Jimmie being the muscle digging the holes and her creating the beauty. Linda was a lifelong collector of chickens and camels decorating their home to the fullest with both.

She was preceded by her parents; brother, Jerry Caudle; daughter, Misty Kay Goad Mitchell and grandson, Kyler Franey.
