LaVina M. Kaufman, 88, passed away June 25, 2025 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis. She was born January 21, 1937, Ellinwood, KS, daughter of Ray and Emma Etherton.
She married Charlie Bayless in 1955 and resided in Pueblo, CO. for 16 years. She married Ray Kaufman in 1989 residing in Mt. Hope, KS. Retired from American Bonanza Society and provided home health care for the next 10 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Haven, KS.
Survived by son, Dave Bayless and daughter-in-law Maryam, Huntersville, NC; one sister, Judy McKee, Burrton, KS; one stepdaughter, Cathy Tulsiana, Franklin, TN; also survived by 3 Granddaughters, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Preceded in death by parents, Ray and Emma Etherton; grandson, Jarrod Bayless, and 8 brothers and sisters.
Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Haven, KS. Time and date are pending with Ott Funeral Home, Haven, KS in charge of arrangements.
