Jacquelyn “Jackie” Sue PalicMarion, KS

Jacquelyn Sue “Jackie” Palic, 62, passed away June 20, 2025, at her home in Marion, Kansas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born September 10, 1962, in Marion, Kansas, the daughter of Jack and Joyce (Pientka) Richmond. Jackie was a 1980 graduate of Marion High School and attended Emporia State University. On April 27, 1991, she was united in marriage to Joseph Palic. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish. She worked at D & J Liquor for numerous years as a sales associate. She was also an owner of Marion Manufacturing, Inc. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tony Ingels; and her father, Jack Richmond. She is lovingly survived by husband, Joe Palic of Marion, her sons: Chad Ingels of Marion; Adam (Carli) Palic of Greensburg; Kyle Palic of Paris, TX; Tyler Palic (Korie Smith) of Emporia; and Todd Palic of Emporia; her grandchildren: Ian and Paxton Ingels, and Evelyn, James, and Josephine Palic; her mother, Joyce Richmond of Marion; her siblings: Allan (Dot) Richmond, Dave (Bobby) Richmond, and Tim (Amy) Richmond all of Marion; and a host of other family and dear friends.

The Vigil Service and Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Marion. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen. Fr. Isaac Coulter will preside over all services. Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery. A Memorial Fund has been established for the Fr. Kapaun Legacy Fund in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
