Delinda Kay Collmann, 74, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. She was born on March 26, 1950, in Quinter, Kansas, to Michael and Isabelle (Scheck) Stefan.
Delinda was a woman full of life, with a heart brimming with love for her family and passions. She had an unshakable devotion to country and Christian music, with Alan Jackson holding a special place in her heart. Music was her constant companion, and it was a source of comfort and joy in her life. She also loved the thrill of game shows, often participating and sharing her enthusiasm with anyone who would listen.
Above all, Delinda treasured her family. She was the heart and soul of their gatherings, particularly the cherished Sunday family dinners, which were a tradition she held dear. She spent months planning family reunions and get-togethers, always eager to bring everyone together to celebrate love and laughter. Her energy and care in these moments created lasting memories for all who were fortunate enough to attend.
Delinda married the love of her life, Dale Collmann, on September 6, 2008, in Dodge City, Kansas. Their love was further blessed when they remarried in 2010 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hutchinson. Together, they shared 16 wonderful years of marriage, filled with joy, love, and support.
Delinda is survived by: her beloved husband, Dale Boyd Collmann of Hutchinson; daughter, Michelle Linnette Meador (David) of McPherson; granddaughters, Molly Ruth Strickler, Mary Isabelle Strickler (Camen Nordstrom), Melissa Kay McAtee (Jordan), and Courtney Ciara Meador (Anthony Zetrouer Jr.); great-grandchildren, Lilian Isabelle Nordstrom, Matthew Leon Nordstrom, and Joshua James McAtee; siblings, Donna Stefan, Duane Stefan, Delbert Stefan, and Darrell Stefan; along with many nieces and nephews who were all cherished deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donnie Stefan; and sisters, Diana Coffman, Darlene Tidball, Delores Herskowitz, Dorothy Gechwenter, and Dorene Miller.
A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Father Jerome Spexarth officiating. Cremation will follow, with a private family burial. Family and friends are invited to greet the family after the service. Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

Delinda’s spirit, warmth, and love for her family will remain forever in their hearts, as will her infectious joy and laughter. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
