Debra Ann Gibbs
1958-2024

Debra Ann Gibbs, 66, passed away November 15, 2024 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS.

She was born July 22, 1958 in Dodge City, the daughter of Henry Ross and Mary Eileen Jones Berger. A lifetime area resident, she worked for the FSA Office in Jetmore for 30 years, then she worked for the NRCS Office for 10 years as contract labor.

She was of the Christian faith. She was a historian and a member of the Chester Hawkins American Legion Auxiliary Post #290. Deb loved spending time with her family and friends at the lake fishing and also loved her black labradors, Purp, Stosh, Lula and Pogie.

On November 22, 1974 she married Tim D. Gibbs in Jetmore.  He survives.

Other survivors include: son, Jason (Rae) Gibbs, Clearwater; brother, David (Sheri) Berger, Jetmore; sister, Sandra (Warren) Vieux, Hesston; four grandchildren, Bryce (Bailey) Gibbs, Taylor (Alaina) Gibbs, both of Clearwater, Brett (Morgan) Gibbs, Towanda, Tessa (Colby Koster) Gibbs, Lawrence; two great grandchildren, June Ann Gibbs and Ross Aaron Gibbs and her mother-in-law, Dona Gibbs-Olsen, Dodge City.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore with Jason Gibbs presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2024 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.

Memorials may be given to Chester Hawkins American Legion Auxiliary Post #290 in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, KS 67854.
