Two Arrested After Early Saturday Incident at a Hutchinson Bar & Grill

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Two Hutchinson residents were arrested, and two others issued notices to appear in court after an early Saturday morning incident where a shot was reportedly fired.

Hutchinson police were called to the Rusty Needle at 1808 North Plum in response to an altercation that began after a group of people were turned away as the bar was nearing closing time. While nobody was injured from the shot, a security guard was battered during the incident.

One of the suspects, identified as Quistion Wade, 22, reportedly displayed a firearm, and after the group dispersed a gunshot was heard in close proximity to the bar’s parking lot. A gun was seized during the investigation, and Wade is facing potential charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A second suspect, Amanda McCue, was arrested for possession of cocaine, battery, and felony interference with law enforcement.

McCue and Wade have since posted bond, and if the normal procedure is followed, will make their initial court appearances on November 14th.

Issued notices to appear from the incident on charges of misdemeanor battery were Cedrick Wade Jr. and Tampiria Wade.
