Widespread rainfall will develop over the region today and continue into Thursday.

 
A slow-moving weather system will bring widespread moderate to heavy rainfall to the region for Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday. One-to-two-inch rainfall amounts will be common, but some areas of southeast Kansas have the potential to see three to four inches. This may lead to area flooding and possible river flooding.




A nice warming trend will be in store for Kansas on Friday and Saturday.
