HUTCHINSON
– On 04/26/2022 the Hutchjnson Police Department received a call in reference to a juvenile female being transported from Hutchinson to Newton, KS against her will. During a joint investigation with the Newton Police Department, it was determined an incident involving the juverule also occurred at a residence in Hutchinson. On 04/27/2022 detectives with the Hutchinson Police Department executed a search warrant at that location.
On 04/28/2022 detectives with the Hutchinson Police Department arrested Tyrone Carter, BM/51, Hutchinson for Kidnapping, Rape and Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child.
The case is still under investigation and further questions need to be directed to the Reno County District Attorney’s Office.
