EnvistaCares Challenge Launches in Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON – Envista Credit Union is launching the EnvistaCares Challenge in Hutchinson with Interfaith Housing & Community Services, Inc. The EnvistaCares Challenge will highlight Interfaith Housing & Community Services during the month of June.

Through the challenge grant, Envista will match every dollar given to Interfaith Housing & Community Services during the month of June up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com . The media package provided by Envista to Interfaith Housing & Community Services includes a month of promotion through billboards, emails, social media and radio.

Finally, Envista supports the production of a video for Interfaith Housing & Community Services to use to share their message and encourage members of the community to not only give, but to join in and consider becoming a partner.

“It is our goal to give a voice and shine a spotlight on those organizations that are doing exceptional work in our community, while encouraging our community to give,” said Holly Herman, branch manager for Envista. “We were inspired by the old proverb, ‘It takes village.’ We are a part of that village and we are here to help.”

Interfaith Housing & Community Services envisions communities where people have the knowledge and tools to achieve financial self-sufficiency, and access to housing that is affordable, accessible and where they can live in safety with dignity. For over 30 years, Interfaith has been lending a helping hand. More than revitalizing neighborhoods, building and fixing homes Interfaith builds community, hope and the opportunity for families to help themselves.

“Interfaith Housing and Community Services is honored to be the first non-profit in Hutchinson to participate in the EnvistaCares Challenge. Funds raised from the challenge will take us closer to our goal of completing renovations to the LightHouse and providing safe, affordable apartments for students faced with housing insecurity, said Lorna Moore, president and CEO of Interfaith Housing. “Thank you to Envista Credit Union, and all who accept the challenge and donate. Your helping hands are helping young people in our community.”

The EnvistaCares Challenge was created in June of 2019 and has helped raise more than $460,000 for local organizations. Envista Credit Union is a full-service financial institution established in 1957 to help members achieve their financial goals by providing quality products and services. Envista currently has more than $535 million in assets and serves more than 45,000 Kansans with 10 offices in Topeka, Lawrence and Hutchinson.
