As the new Director of Community Services, Davis will be tasked with working with local Non-Profits and the grants process. Davis will also serve as the lead for initiatives such as the Community Coalition.

Currently the foundation staff sits at five members:

What’d I miss?

New move in date set for August 15

Walls have been opened and closed, flooring is down and the cabinets are being placed. Everything is starting to come together and much sooner than we could’ve imagined.

This means that we can officially say that we are ahead of schedule! Instead of our office reopening in early September, our new move in date is August 15th.

Our office hours have not changed and we will be open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

An update from our patnering organizations

Our partnering organization Arts After School will be moving under the umbrella of the McPherson Public Library’s youth services. This will not change the current programming of Arts After School. Participants will still arrive at Journey and will still see the same instructors.

What’s coming up?

Learning about our fund history

Starting this month, we will occasionally be releasing videos on the history of our funds. To kick it off we have current board member and fund holder Bob Kohrs. Shoes and Coats for Kids is a prime example how a fund can make an impact to a specific need.
