HUTCHINSON, Kan. – In collaboration with the Dillon Nature Center Foundation, Hutch Rec in the process of developing a strategic plan for the future of Dillon Nature Center. The process includes an evaluation of current programs and events offered at the Nature Center.
In 1970, land belonging to Dillon Stores, Inc. was donated to the City of Hutchinson, with the Hutchinson Recreation Commission responsible for providing public recreation and outdoor education opportunities. Today, residents can enjoy a vast array of outdoor recreation experiences throughout the 100 acres that make up Dillon Nature Center in northeast Hutchinson.
