A grain marketer says wildfire smoke has delayed crop development and harvest throughout many regions of Canada.

Ken Whitelaw with Synergy Grain Trading is based in southern Ontario.

He tells Brownfield despite the delays, early projections were for a record corn crop, but wet weather has caused significant vomitoxin concerns.
