As Russia continues its attack on Ukraine, a farmer in the central part of the country is waiting patiently to finish harvest.
Kees Huizinga says the ongoing war continues to slow food production across the country. “We were supposed to harvest corn close to Kyiv, but we can’t because these Iranian-made drones launched by Russia are flying over the corn fields we have to harvest for our cows.”
He says it has upended food and nutrition security.
