An online resource is connecting farmers with soybean checkoff-funded research to help them maximize yields and profitability. Cate Newberg says the Soybean Research and Information Network (SRIN) is a one-stop, easy-to-use tool for farmers who want to grow a better crop.

“We mine the database and we pull projects out and we write them in a way that are easier for farmers to digest,” she says.  “It tells you what the benefits are, the results of different kinds of research that have been conducted.  And really what to do next… what to scout for and what to look for.”

She tells Brownfield farmers SRIN is a great resource for farmers.
