South Central Nebraska farmer Andy Jobman says he’s harvesting one of the worst corn crop he’s ever raised.
“The best was about 30 bushels per acre and the worst was about 4 bushels per acre.”
He tells Brownfield exceptional drought dramatically affected pollination, but there’s some hope for irrigated corn. “I think it will be average. I think there will be some really great yields out there on the irrigated. I think there will also be some irrigated yields that will be disappointing,” he says.
