Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for near- or below-normal temperatures from the Great Lakes region southward to the Gulf Coast, while warmer-than-normal weather will prevail along the Atlantic Seaboard and from the Pacific Coast to the Plains.
Meanwhile, below-normal rainfall across the nation’s mid-section should contrast with wetter-than-normal conditions in the Atlantic Coast States and much of the West.
