Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and rainfall across most of the country.
Exceptions will include cooler-than-normal conditions in the Pacific Coast States and the Desert Southwest and drier-than-normal weather in the Great Basin and the western Gulf Coast region.
