Trey and Maddie Wellman, Houghton, Iowa
This year our award winners in Lee County are twins Trey and Maddie Wellman whose parents are Deb and Dusty Wellman of rural Houghton, Iowa. Both have grown up in the show ring mostly showing cattle. They own cows and embryo donor cows, operating their own breeding business. Both have been active participants in 4-H and in the Central Lee FFA Chapter. Maddie was their FFA chapter’s president and Trey was vice-president.
