Forty international buyers from seven different Latin American countries are in Illinois this week for a grain tour hosted by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Participants have started in the central portion of the state visiting RTS Farm, GSI, Clarkson Grain and ADM and will move north for tours of Marquis Energy, Seedburo Equipment and the Delong Company, ending in Chicago with the Illinois Soybean Association and MANNS Traders.
The tour gives farmers and retailers the opportunity to showcase their facilities to foreign investors.
