Harvest pressure sends soybeans, corn lower

Soybeans were lower on fund and technical selling. Near-term forecasts generally look dry for most of the Midwest and Plains, aside from scattered showers during the first part of the week, which should help harvest activity. The USDA says 52% of U.S. soybeans are rated good to excellent, unchanged, but with 1% moving from excellent to good. 54% of the crop is dropping leaves and 5% is harvested, both ahead of their respective five-year averages.
