An ag real estate expert says now’s the time to purchase farmland with more family farms coming up for sale.
Randy Dickhut with Farmers National Company tells Brownfield, “In a lot of cases, especially for farmers, they have to buy when that neighboring farm comes up for sale once every two, three, or four generations,” he said. “It doesn’t happen very often, so they have to buy when the chance comes.”
He says these rare pieces of land are coming to the market more frequently.
