Corn conditions plummeted last week in Kansas from persistent drought and heat.
The USDA says corn is rated 39 percent good-to-excellent, a drop of 8 percent on the week and a 16 percent drop in the last two weeks.
Soybeans are rated 51 percent good to excellent, a drop of 5 percent.
Thirty-one percent of sorghum is rated good-to-excellent, and cotton is rated 35 percent good to excellent.
Pasture and range conditions are rated 25 percent good-to-excellent.
