Corn lodging cause for alarm in northwest Iowa

An extension agronomist is alarmed by the impact of heat and dryness on corn.

Gentry Sorenson with Iowa State University covers a portion of northwest Iowa and tells Brownfield lodging is an issue on lighter soils and in crops impacted by disease or hail during the growing season.
