Milk futures and and most cash dairy prices were down after the holiday weekend Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October Class III milk was down $0.13 at $21.79. November was down $0.27 at $21.13. December was down $0.40 at $20.72. January was down $0.42 to $20.36. February through August contracts ranged from unchanged in August to twenty-four cents lower in March.
Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.41. One sale was recorded at that price.
