American Farm Bureau Federation is bringing dairy farmers and processors together to discuss milk pricing issues before the next the farm bill.
Economist Danny Munch tells Brownfield AFBF has organized a federal milk marketing order forum in Kansas City October 14th through the 16th. “The forum is open to all dairy industry participants. They can be a processor, an exporter, farmers. You know, our members are really trying to create that environment of cooperation, of understanding, so all segments of the dairy supply chain will be heard.”
Munch says the structure of the forum is designed to get participants talking about the issues and possible policy changes.
