A healthcare plan for agriculture, by agriculture

The cost of healthcare can be a burden for farmers and others in the agribusiness industry. 40 Square executive director Amanda Beavens says because it’s a cooperative, once you become a member you have voting rights to help sculpt a plan that works. She tells Brownfield the coop is also governed by a board of directors which are farmers from different parts of Minnesota.

“So it really is a plan that’s for agriculture, by agriculture.”
