Local women involved in any facet of agriculture are encouraged to attend a one-day Women in Agriculture conference.
The event will open at 9 a.m. and feature a keynote address on advocating for agriculture by Brandi Buzzard Frobose.
Sessions throughout the day will include those focused on land lease basics and rental rates, mental health and agricultural stress, the FSA/NRCS program, crop insurance/livestock risk protection insurance, and grain marketing covering both global and local views.
Lunch will be provided, and there is no cost for it or registration.
