Public Palm Sunday Tram Tour

Board our covered tram for a 45 minute tour out on our Kansas prairie located in the heart of the Smoky Hills where you will experience an up close and personal visit within our Bison herd. The plains Elk are out for viewing November through March. Tour guides are on board providing information about Maxwell and the Kansas Prairie’s natural, cultural and historic resources. Easter Egg Hunt will follow directly after returning to the visitors center.
