Week of April 8th
The city of Iola has announced plans for the annual city-wide cleanup program.
The collection will take place the Week of April 8th, and they will pick up leaves, grass clippings, Freon-free appliances, furniture, clothing and the like.
What they won’t take are ties, auto parts, demolition or construction debris, and hazardous materials including ammunition or explosives.
The city asks you to separate yard debris from household waste items, they won’t pick up mixed loads.
To arrange for pickup, call 620-365-4910 or 365-4903 before noon on Friday April 5th, and have items set out by Sunday evening, April 7th.
