2024 McPherson County All Schools Day Button Hunt

About the 2024 Button Hunts

• There are two button hunts, sponsored by First Bank Kansas and Peoples Bank and Trust. The medallion is hidden on public property within McPherson County and is accessible at all times. The virtual location is located within McPherson County and is a place that is open to the public. For the 2024 hunt, this is a specific place. 
• A button hunt license and All Schools Day Button is required to participate in the hunts. Both can be purchased (five dollars each) at the Ad Astra Radio Office in McPherson.
• The button hunts will begin at 6:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2024. 
• The medallion (donated by Stewart’s Sports and Awards) must be found by 11:59 PM Thursday, May 9th. The medallion is in a clear plastic bag which also contains instructions to claim your prize.
• Guesses for the virtual hunt can be sent to [email protected] or texted to (620) 860-3224. Guesses must be received by 11:59 PM Thursday, May 9th. In the event more than one correct guess is received, the earliest guess received will be the winner. 
• Button hunt clues will be posted daily on the McPherson County All Schools Day Facebook Page and local media outlets and will also be aired on Ad Astra Radio stations (98.9/1540 KMCP, 96.7 KMPK, 95.5 KLBG and 106.1 KXKU).
• A $250 prize will be awarded to the person who finds the medallion, and a $250 prize will be awarded to the first person to identify the virtual location.
• The All Schools Day Committee reserves the right to make any modifications to the hunt if required by circumstances beyond the control of the Committee.
