An agronomist expects soybean harvest to pick up steam across southern Minnesota this week.
Tim Dahl with Syngenta says yields look decent as farmers begin taking out a few of the earlier varieties.
“Some of those fields that may have had disease pressure, insect pressure, or (other) things happened, sometimes those come off first because of those challenges. The crop shuts down early, dry areas, things like that.”
He tells Brownfield conditions are favorable for harvest progress.
