Farmer says uncertainty is growing around fertilizer applications

A Southeast Nebraska farmer says drought and the availability of fertilizer is adding more uncertainty for next year’s crop.

Nathan Dorn farms 30 minutes south of Lincoln and says dry soils have created application issues. “There’s nothing for anhydrous to bind to in the soil so anything we put down will evaporate right out.”
