Farmer describes average to above-average yields

A northwest Indiana farmer says harvest is progressing quickly.

Natasha Cox grows corn and soybeans with her husband in Benton County.  

“We’re starting to see some folks getting close to wrapping up; we’re seeing some fertilizer being applied, a lot of tillage work being done, and yields have really been all over the board,” she says. 

She tells Brownfield, “there were some pleasant surprises in the soybean crop in some areas.
