Goddard, Kan. – Zach Reynolds pitched five innings strong for the McPherson Pipeliners on Monday, allowing just one run, on four hits, through five innings on the road, against the Kansas Curve.
The game was scoreless going into the bottom of the fourth inning before the Curve’s aggressiveness on the basepaths would tally the game’s first run. The Curve would add an insurance run in the seventh before a 2-run double in the eighth would give the Curve a 4-0 edge over the Pipeliners.
The Pipeliners are off on Tuesday, before concluding the regular season on Wednesday, as they’re set to travel to El Dorado to take on the Walnuts. The first pitch is set for 7 p.m.
