Pipeliners Fall At Home Tuesday

McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson Pipeliners played their third straight home game at Bulldog Park in as many days Tuesday evening, as they took on the Dirtbag Baseball Club.

The Liners would take a 2-1 lead after 1, but The Dirtbag Baseball Club would score two in the following inning before Jaron Brown would answer for McPherson, with a two-run home run in the fourth, however, the lead would be short lived, as it’d be tied again in the fifth.

The Dirtbag Baseball Club sprinkled six over the final 3 innings, led by a 4-run 7th. The Pipeliners would tally 3 runs in the 7th, but they’d fall 10-7.

Coach Robl liked the way his team responded following Sunday’s contest, but he would say, “The bats just couldn’t come through late.”

The Pipeliners will have a quick turnaround against the Dirtbag Baseball Club, as they’ll travel to Goddard Wednesday, with first pitch scheduled for  7 p.m.
